How to Apply

Email a copy of your passport, police clearance, and proof of health/travelers insurance to Language Link
When will I know I have been accepted?
After you have submitted your Online Participant Application Form, Online Participation Agreement, and after you have emailed a copy of your passport, police clearance, and proof of health/travelers insurance, Language Link will review your application. Once your application has been reviewed and all necessary information has been received, you will receive a letter of acceptance via email. This email will be sent to the address you provide in the Online Application Form.
Program Participation Fee
The Language Link Cultural Experience Program is worth every penny spent! In fact, we believe that you will never again have an experience like it! The program includes incredible academic, social, and service-oriented experiences. The program participation fee must be paid in full at least four (4) weeks prior to the program start date. This fee covers all of your housing expense, transportation to and from activities, most meals, as well as the cost of every Language Link sponsored activity. However, you should plan on bringing an additional $300-$500 for personal expenses including souvenirs, transportation to and from activities not sponsored by Language Link, some meals, and activities with your host family. Additionally, $950.00 of the program fee is non-refundable in the event of cancellation or withdrawal from the program after the payment deadline and prior to the program start date. This amount will be used to cover non-refundable airfare costs, hotel reservations, purchased event tickets, and participating Host Family dues. No refund will be granted to participants who cancel or withdraw from the program after the program start date. Participants who cancel or withdraw from the program prior to the payment deadline will receive full reimbursement for payments made.
